About Hannah

As the daughter of a library assistant, I have been a voracious reader from a young age and have a great passion for books. I have also always loved learning, studying subjects ranging from Maths and Chemistry to German and Japanese via History and Art.

When it came to studying a degree I chose Linguistics, a discipline which proved to be a wonderful combination of art and science, where I was able (and, indeed, encouraged!) to use both sides of my brain. I graduated from the University of York with a First Class degree and an increased enthusiasm for language and grammar.

I believe my analytical mind, hard-working nature and creative streak are perfectly suited to freelance proofreading and I am committed to providing a service which is professional, helpful and reliable.
